March always brings a feeling of expectancy and has many events to suggest that we are nearing winter’s end. Spring is just around the corner! The daffodils are in bloom, and the crocuses are pushing their heads up as well. It’s time to get outside and enjoy this beautiful place we call home. Daylight Savings Time begins on March 8 giving us an extra hour of daylight in the evenings. Saint Patrick’s Day on the 17th gives many of our local Irish folk (and others) a chance to celebrate the “wearing of the green”. In the same week, on the 20th, we welcome the First Day of Spring.
